Enabling site visitors to quickly find business and organizations within your community.
Initially, the business and resource directory will be populated with the organization's latest business listings. Site visitors will be able to search for businesses and organizations by keyword or by selecting the appropriate category (example: Retail, Civic Organizations, Suppliers, etc.). Results of a search will show the organizations name, address, phone number, web address, contact e-mail and a map link to the business address.
The site administrator will be able to make changes to the online directory through an easy- to-use interface and site visitors will be able to make requests to add their business or to modify their business listing. When requests are received for business information to be added or modified, the information provided in the request will be integrated into the business directory once approved by the site administrator or delegate, thus eliminating having to re-key the information received.
Also, the administrator will be able to highlight businesses that are helping your community, such as site sponsors or Chamber of Commerce members.
